Boston-bred Contracting

Robert Newell has worked as a foreman for some of Boston's most recognized construction contractors, doing commercial build-outs, general remodeling and structural repairs. Dissatisfied with lax, inefficient processes that led to cost overruns and blown deadlines, Robert knew there had to be a better way to get the job done. So in 2000, he founded Newell Contracting, Inc. on the precept that yes, jobs can be delivered on time and on budget.

Proudly serving the greater Massachusetts area, Robert holds a Construction Supervisor's license, a Home Improvement Contractor License, and an OSHA Health and Safety certification. He is also certified for lead removal under EPA's Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule. Newell Contracting, Inc. is an A+ accredited member of the Better Business Bureau.

Successful projects include a 30,000 sq. ft. build-out for a prominent university in Boston and national retail stores in Cambridge. Newell Contracting, Inc. has completed large tenant-occupied space renovations which require considerable coordination between management, tenant, and contractor.
